Dear lovers, mystics and poetry souls,

Today I’ll share with you one of my poems from my second book The God-like Things, published in 2021.

This was actually the first video poem that I had ever created, the first recording, no edits just heart-led, trust-led, and as such it remains quite special to me. I created it a few months before publishing my book, and originally, when I published the video poem online, I had to give it a name, so I named it “Aubade to a Husband”. Later I changed it to “Large Windows”.

The simple truth is that my poems don’t have names in my books. How can a sea be called a name, it’s all waves, so many nuances, temperatures, we just enter and flow and move and let it move us.

It’s really difficult to give my essays names also. I’ve published over 400 essays and it’s still so difficult giving them names. But when it comes to my poems, I’ve just always felt that I didn’t want titles because I wanted the attention of the reader to remain on the feeling – and not let them enter the poem through a defined door with a name.

It’s nameless, because I’d want you to enter it openly and let it reveal to you your own way of experiencing it. As we know, poetry is never about the writer, it is about the reader, because the world of poetry are those of mysticism and about experiencing ourselves, seeing what arises within us through the way of the non-linearity of the language and metaphor and images shaped by emotions.

For those of you who resonate with my poetry, you may know I have two poetry book, Moonhold, published in 2019, and The God-like Things, published in 2021. Both are in limited edition, and available in both paperback and digital reader’s version. You can reader about them here on my website.

The Signed Collector Paperback edition is limited edition with few copies left, wrapped and signed personally by me, inscribed with a special message written just for you uniquely.

For those of you who feel drawn to the poems but live far away for the signed paperback to reach you, please know the Digital Reader’s Edition is available also; I prepare for each reader and will still include a message for you on the inner page.

And now, my dear ones,

Let us open the veils and enter the world of poetry,

Below are both the video and written version,

Enjoy ♥︎

there are large windows in the new house
such real light makes moving seamless

today the emotion is orange
after rains the carved letters on the wood are blazing suns
the bark remembers
we see it

more now: i love you

sometimes winds can blind us
i thought because of the branches
you knew there’s no such thing
but allowed me to still wonder
as curiously as i had to be

some days we almost dial back the old house numbers
who would answer? would it even ring?
who knows the moment we learned the patterns

and maybe we didn’t become a revolution
but at the very least we were a questioning
this is what matters – free minds, free hearts

and look how resilient the future is
despite our forgetfulness it promises to never underestimate
the importance of large windows

of the sea
of you
of me

of the calm flow

me in bed, you downstairs
moving seamless
together making this house
this dance
my neck
still smells of vanilla oils, you tell me, like before
and here we are
like before
like always
against the walls bodies believing
like hands down trusting
and up towards our first kiss

across the rooms old and new
we walk the corridors together

in you of you is me of me is us
of us is love
