Duality is one of the themes that I explore in the book. Fire can be both destructive and creative. Eucalyptus seeds grow only when the trees are burned. And yet fire is also destructive. The universe re-births itself out of destruction. Furthermore, how kind is too kind? When does kindness and innocence become destructive too? Everything in life should be in balance. Good and bad are perspectives. What is pleasure for us, may be pain for the other in the mutual exchange. Nothing is ever completely innocent or healthy. Even vegetarianism is unhealthy in excess. Life has its own pulse. And while there are many perspectives – essentially all of them are purposeful – and all of them are part of the oneness. The understanding of this collapses duality into oneness.
